It is my mission to guide women to bust through perceived limits and create more of what they want. There is a huge movement of women today that reject the anti-aging industry and the old notions about what women over 50, 60, 70 and beyond can be doing with their lives. Surround yourself with people who say Yes, you can! Be a person who says Yes, you can! to others. Once one person does something, it can no longer be said that it is unrealistic. Throughout time, people have shattered limits that once seemed impossible. Imagine how many people would have shot holes in her goal and said 'you can't be a competitive body builder in your 70's' or 'you can't have a six pack in your 80's. She follows a high protein diet and eats ten egg whites for breakfast. Her motto is Determined - Dedicated - Disciplined to be fit. Now, at 86 years old, she teaches women and inspires them to be fit at any age. She consistently ran 80 miles a week in her 70's and was injury free. Ripley's Believe it or Not named her the "6-pack granny". At 71, she earned the World Guinness Book of Records for the oldest competitive body builder. As she turned 60, Ernestine garnered the attention of Essence magazine, Oprah and the View for being unusually fit for her age. They made a decision to start exercising and started with aerobics. Then one day when she was 56 years old, she was shopping for swimsuits with her sister and they didn't like what they saw in the mirror. She had never worked out a day in her life. Do you have a goal that some would say is "unrealistic"? I'm a fan of the idea that it's best to only share our big goals with people who are going to cheer us on, not tell us all the reasons it can't happen.
